Past SLA Association Operations Grants

SLA Association Operations grants, previously SLA Endowment Fund grants, are now awarded from the SLA Research Funds as part of the SLA Research Grants.

Grants have been awarded for the following projects.

"Impulse for Growth!" Laying foundations for SLA membership acquisition and growth in Germany for 2008.
The aim of the research was to build a solid and scaleable foundation upon which the current SLA representation in Germany can develop and move forward, laying down the basis of a network around which both existing formal and informal networks can coalesce and grow.

Development of position profiles for information professionals in healthcare industries; applying the SLA Competencies and marketing the profession.

Grant to explore systems thinking perspectives: behaviors that support innovation in knowledge and information delivery.

Grant to determine strategies for the future of a small chapter.

Development of a knowledge management and sharing chapter web site structured and guided by SLA Competencies.

Support for the development of a country-wide database network for Nepal.

Support for a state-focused marketing and advertising campaign featuring the profession.
