The Pharmaceutical and Health Technology Division (P&HT) of the Special Libraries Association provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among individuals interested in the collection, storage, retrieval, analysis, and dissemination of information in all aspects of the pharmaceutical, biomedical, biotechnical, cosmetic, medical device, and other health care fields. P&HT is involved in all aspects of information science, as related to education, research, business and marketing in the health care field.

• 2009 DPHT Meeting / Napa, California - Our 2009 Spring meeting is to be held March 22 - 24 2009 at The Meritage Resort in Napa, CA.   We have secured a group rate of $159/night for the conference and for the days before and after the meeting. Online reservations will be available in the next week or so and Heather Blaine will send a follow-up announcement with those details as soon as they are available.
• 2008 Annual Meeting / Seattle - We had an exciting and rewarding conference in Seattle. Handouts for some PHTD-sponsored sessions are posted at the SLA website.
• Travel award - We have two 2008 travel award winners: Jen Ferguson, for "Gel, a Digital Library of Molecular Biology Lab Techniques"; and Natalie Clairoux, for "The corporate library: a collaborative space for innovation." Read more....
