LISTA
www.libraryresearch.com
Just what we've been waiting for--a free bibliographic database of LIS resources. LISTA, or Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts, provides access to more than 600 periodicals, books, and other monographs. (EBSCO's LISTA with Full Text is a new subscription-based product that contains more than 100 full-text sources.) The search tool permits multi-field searching, so it's easy to find just what you are looking for. Want to find articles with "blog" in the title published in the past year? No problem...there are more than fifty records with those parameters. Need to know more about metadata, open access, wireless technology? LISTA is a good first step. Sometimes we forget that we need to read for professional development and not just find articles for our clients. LISTA is our friend...and a Web Site Worth a Click.
