Can't remember what "NCLIS" stands for? Need a quick definition for "subfield
code"? Check out this glossary from the School of Information Resources and
Library Science at the University of Arizona. Okay, if you've taken Librarianship
101, you're probably familiar with most of the terms in here. But when a stumper
comes along, it's good to know where to look. Also useful are links from definitions
to other specialized glossaries. For example, "Printing Terms" links to the
University of Oklahoma Printing Services glossary. BTW: NCLIS stands for the
National Commission on Libraries and Information Science. And a "subfield code"
is... if you don't know, you probably don't need to.
