It's a good time for an analysis of your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). There is never a bad time to look at them, but a period of crisis and change can be ideal.

Don't worry, I am not going to get political; but I think the election of Barack Obama has made an impact around the world. Despite the bad economic news, there seems to be a feeling of hope and a lively interest in change. Nothing may change, of course, but at least change may be given a chance.
