SLA is presenting several copyright-related events in the coming months.

Ask the Copyright Experts is our twice-yearly members-only webinar program that provides information on recent copyright developments. Representatives from the Copyright Clearance Center, SIIA, LicenseLogic, and Copyrightlaws.com will be on hand to share news, give their thoughts, and answer your questions.

An Insider’s Look at the U.S. Copyright Office is a two-part program that provides information about the workings of the U.S. Copyright Office.  Members and non-members alike are invited to participate in this event, which includes both a webinar and a visit to the U.S. Copyright Office in Washington, D.C.  Participants will learn about the history of the Copyright Office, the upcoming revision to the U.S. Copyright Act, registering copyrights, how to properly use copyrighted work, searching for copyright records, and much more.
