Conference Programs

Maximize Your Exposure at the Year's Most Important Gathering of Information Professionals.

The Special Libraries Association's (SLA) Annual Conference is perhaps the most significant event in the information industry during the year. Over 5,000 information professionals come together to discuss the industry's future, to learn about new products, services and technologies, and to network with colleagues.

In 2000, SLA's Annual Conference will be held in Philadelphia, PA from June 10 -15. The theme for the Conference is "Independence to Interdependence: The Next Phase in the Information Revolution" which reflects the evolving role of our members within their organizations, as well as the intertwined nature of the information profession.

The exhibit hall at the Annual Conference attracts more than 300 organizations and has consistently sold out the last few years. Advertising in the Preliminary Program and Final Conference Program can stimulate traffic at your trade show booth, create excitement for your products and services, and deliver a powerful message to Conference attendees. The Preliminary Program is distributed to all SLA members and the Final Conference Program is provided to Conference attendees. It serves as the official guide of the Conference and includes a schedule of events, seminars and activities.
