Access Information Professionals Who Spend $1.5 Billion Each Year on Information Technology, and Other Products and Services.

The information industry continues to evolve - rapidly. New technologies and resources have provided corporations, universities and other organizations access to a wealth of information. And special librarians continue to serve as the gatekeepers of information resources.

It is estimated that special librarians control the spending of about $1.5 billion each year in information technology, and other related products and services. The purchasing influence of information professionals has even expanded to include the Internet, software and other technologies. Now, more than ever, information professionals are playing a key role in influencing their organizations buying decisions.

Publications of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) offer you access to information professionals working around the world. Nearly 15,000 of these professionals loyally turn to SLAs publications for news, analysis and opinion.
