Who's Who/Buyer's GuideEach year, the information industry anxiously awaits the publication of the Special Libraries Association's Who's Who in Special Libraries and the Buyer's Guide. With a shelf-life of a year, information professionals consistently refer to these directories for industry contacts, and product, service and technology descriptions. Who's Who in Special Libraries includes information about SLA, its important decision-makers, chapter and division contacts, and other professionals shaping the industry. The Buyer's Guide, which is distributed with Who's Who in Special Libraries, is a comprehensive listing of products and services available to information professionals. Both directories are distributed to nearly 15,000 SLA members as well as sold directly to other information professionals and their organizations. Who to Contact. The 1999/2000 Who's Who will incorporate a new feature - the opportunity to place your company's logo adjacent to its free listing in the Directory of Manufacturers & Suppliers and the Buyer's Guide will be posted on the SLA web site, with hot links to your company's Web site available.
Listings in the 2000/2001 Buyer's Guide.
Companies have the opportunity to purchase listings in the Buyer's Guide. Remember, advertisers purchasing full or half page of advertising space receive 5 free lisitngs in the Buyer's Guide.
