Jill Strand: The James Bond Archive – There are massive amounts of rare photos and memorabilia! It also includes commentary from the directors, actors, stuntmen, writers and the keepers of the Bond movie legend, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. Girls, gadgets, cars and guns – it has it all! And of course no Bond lover should go without their favorite films and books as well! When not watching Bond, I’m a huge fan of quirky mystery series with truly engaging characters and good writing. Two of my favorite series not only capture my attention and imagination but their main characters simply make me laugh.

Catherine Lavallee-Welch
: One of my favorite albums of all times. Music that magically seems to fit every mood. My daughter, the teenage Whovian, loved this shirt. It was absolutely awesome enough. Once ridiculed, the tricolor Expos cap is now appreciated by connoisseurs, from Montréal or not. Because you can’t go wrong with Belgian chocolate.

Marilyn Bromley
: My favorite bird reference guides and birdsong CDs. All three volumes are heavy and large, so for home reference use rather than in the field. The two CD sets are my favorites for learning bird songs, since one frequently hears them but never sees them. As Roger Tory Peterson said “Watching birds has sharpened my senses, made my hearing far more acute than most, my eyes more perceptive, my reactions quicker. This awareness has radiated far beyond the birds, embracing nearly everything that is alive, from my fellow humans to the least beetle or cricket.

Tom Rink:
Here is my list . . .The Far Pavilions (book) — this epic adventure (historical fiction/romance) transports you to the British occupancy of India with Rajas and Ranis. Total escapism. Gladiator (movie) — my all time favorite

Doug Newcomb:
Doug despises shopping in person, but knows in order to remain a loved uncle, gifts must be sent to nieces and nephews, all of whom have all received a Kindle. His two recent favorite self-gifts have been hardback copies of Empty Mansions. And his random favorite recommendation? “Wenol All Metal Polish”—works on every type of metal.

Linda Broussard:

Keurig Cafe Cup My K-Cup Single Reusable Coffee Filter – Linda loves a good cup of coffee. Frugal minded and committed to diversity, I love the reusable coffee filter so that I can buy my favorite coffees, grind the beans so that the fresh taste is released, and brew an economical luxury coffee. Homemagnetics MM3624WLD Magnetic Travel Map of The World, Magnets Included, 39 by 27-Inch – Linda’s got to have this map. Would be great to look at a map of the thirty plus countries visited and look for the next adventure. I’m thinking Mongolia and the Gobi Desert.
