Support SLA When You Shop Amazon

Did you know you can conveniently shop Amazon while supporting SLA at no extra cost or effort?

SLA is now an Amazon affiliate. By using SLA’s custom-link to Amazon-USA’s homepage (also see the below links for UK & Canada) for each purchase you make, Amazon will donate a percentage back to SLA. SLA does not receive a report of your ordered items; only a notification that items were ordered and that Amazon has made a donation in your name.

You can also bookmark the below links so you can navigate to Amazon US, Amazon UK, and Amazon Canada without having to visit the SLA Website first:

Amazon USA: http://amzn.to/15xkXWy

Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/1hily0v

Amazon Canada: http://amzn.to/16EOTmK

To save you time and effort, below are detailed instructions on how to bookmark the SLA Amazon Affiliate link so that every time you shop, you can support your professional association:

  1. Right-click the short link above (or for MAC users, press and hold the control key while you click).
  2. Select “Bookmark this link” (or similarly worded option – for Internet Explorer, your option will read “Add to Favorites”).
  3. Name the bookmark as you prefer (simply “Amazon” would work)

At this time, the affiliate program only applies for the US-version of Amazon’s store, but we are working on extending to Canada and the United Kingdom as well, and will update this post at that time.

If you have any questions about the program or the bookmarking process, let us know (e-mail: jwalsh@sla.org). As always, we appreciate your support of the information profession.
