Requesting Media Credentials for an SLA Event

Each year, SLA’s Annual Conference & INFO-EXPO attracts more than 2,000 information professionals and hundreds of suppliers of the latest information management tools, publications, and technology. As the largest such event in the special library industry, the conference draws interest from many information industry media.

Before requesting your media credentials, please review the press requirements below.

Event Press Requirements

Individuals requesting press registration must be employed by a media outlet responsible for publishing a magazine, newsletter, or journal that regularly covers topics pertinent to the information services industry. Media credentials are only issued to editorial staff members who are reporting on the events, programs and activities at the conference. A letter from your employer that describes your assignment may be required. Exceptions will only be granted for local press or trade show media.

Freelance writers are required to supply an assignment letter. Please e-mail your letter to Stuart Hales or fax it to +1.703.647.4901.

Once registered, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Media badges will be available on-site at the Registration Desk.
