SLA Legacy Club

Options for Long-Term Giving

As we continue to experience rapid evolution of the information profession, SLA’s support of our members becomes even more important. To maintain their competitive edge, information professionals will rely on programs that enhance their current skills and supply them with new ones.   SLA can only do so with your support.

How to Remember SLA in Your Will

Please include such language as:

“I give, devise and bequeath the sum of  ____ to the Special Libraries Association, to benefit (The SLA Annual Conference Fund, The Scholarship Fund, The Professional Development Fund, The General Fund).”

“I give to the Special Libraries Association all (or _____%) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to benefit (The SLA Annual Conference Fund, The Scholarship Fund, The Professional Development Fund, The General Fund).”

The Special Libraries Association can be made the beneficiary of your gift through other methods, including:

Charitable Gift Annuities;
Charitable Lead Trusts; and
Charitable Remainder Trusts.

SLA staff can provide general information on these and other methods of giving; however, for advice and assistance in specific cases, consult an attorney or other professional advisor. Should you have questions or require assistance, please contact Erin Price, manager, sales and partnerships.
