SLA is pleased to announce that two scholarships to attend the 2018 SLA Leadership Symposium have been awarded to members who demonstrate a desire and commitment to advance their leadership skills and abilities within SLA units. The scholarship opportunity was extended to those currently serving in a unit leader role, (with the exception of president and president-elect, and chair and chair-elect) including serving on unit advisory boards. Preference was given to those who are serving in their first SLA unit leader position.

The scholarship includes registration to the 2018 SLA Leadership Symposium (value $390), and a $600 travel stipend. Both scholarships are funded thanks to the generosity of  SLA Past President Tom Rink.
