In-Person and Virtual Options

SLA 2022 is being presented in person and on demand (virtually) to allow information professionals to choose the format that best suits their learning preference and budget. The in-person conference will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina, U.S.A., while the virtual component will feature a mix of pre-recorded and live-streamed sessions.

The pricing for the conference reflects the different nature of the in-person and on-demand experiences. Attendees who register for the in-person format will also receive access to the virtual content!

SLA has reserved room blocks at the Westin Charlotte and Marriott City Center. Both hotels are within easy walking distance of the Charlotte Convention Center. Note: The Westin will serve as the headquarters hotel for the SLA 2022 Annual Conference.

SLA continues to follow the changing situation regarding COVID-19. The safety of our in-person attendees in Charlotte is our foremost priority, and we will be following state and local health guidelines and mandates at SLA 2022: Source Forward.

Please note that COVID requirements for Mecklenburg County (which includes the city of Charlotte) may not be uniform for all businesses in and around the city of Charlotte. Some venues may be more or less strict than others, with their own procedures and expectations.
