Attendees will vote on best overall poster as well as several sub-award categories. The winner for the best overall poster will receive a complimentary one-year SLA membership (a $220 value) for up to five authors.  Authors must be registered for the conference in order to receive the complimentary membership.

Guidelines for poster dimensions will be provided.

Submission Guidelines and Review Criteria

Abstracts should include the objective or research question and methods used. Results and conclusions are not required in the submission, but should be included in the final poster. The description must be substantial enough to let the review committee see what your project is about and the expected value of the research.

Submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:

Clarity – The objectives of the research presented are clearly described.

Significance – The objectives of the research make a significant contribution to the library and information profession.

Methods – The methods used (including the design, implementation, and analysis) are appropriate to achieving the objectives of the research.

Presentation – The abstract is logical, interesting, clearly written, and free of grammatical or typographical errors.
