Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Special Libraries Association (SLA). The Call for Volunteers will be open until October 28, 2017.  SLA members are welcome to express interest in as many volunteer positions as you like. Please note that SLA members will not be appointed to more than one SLA Advisory Council/Committee.  Please see below for a summary of positions available prior to completing the survey.

Micro-Volunteer Opportunities

Micro-volunteering can be as little or as much as you would like it to be!  We are always looking for more members to be involved and have opportunities that range anywhere from 10 minutes a month, to one hour a month, to just a one-time action.

Author (write for Information Outlook, the SLA website, assist with small Marketing pieces, etc.) Member of a short-term task force
Resource Specialist to provide resources, models & samples to SLA Volunteer at an SLA event
Provide Feedback and test new SLA Documents and Resources 2018 SLA Call for Volunteers
Share and comment on a SLA Social Media post Post seed questions on SLA Connect

Submit a short video on the value SLA gives you Write a Blog for SLA
