E-mail Instructions
Choose a list. Send an e-mail to the subscription address (lyris@sla.lyris.net) in the following format (leave the subject line blank):
Subscribe listname your-e-mail_address “FirstName LastName”
(e.g., Subscribe SLA-CDC jdoe@xyz.com “John Doe”)
Note: The LISTNAME is the part of the list address preceding the @ symbol. For example, if the list address is SLA-CDC@sla.lyris.net, the list name is SLA-CDC.
Unsubscribe Instructions
Send an e-mail to the subscription address (lyris@sla.lyris.net) in the following format (leave the subject line blank):
Unsubscribe listname e-mail_address
(e.g., Unsubscribe SLA-CDC jdoe@xyz.com)

How to post to one of your lists
How to reply to a list message
- Select the REPLY button in your e-mail browser, type in your message, and hit the SEND button. NOTE: The message will only go to the author of the message.
- If you would like your reply to go to the entire list, select the REPLY button in your e-mail browser, enter the list e-mail address in the TO field (LISTNAME@sla.lyris.net ), type your message, and hit the SEND button.
How to view your list messages on the Web
- Go to http://sla.lyris.net/read/login.
- Enter the e-mail address you use for your list(s) and click OK. If you are a list administrator, you will be prompted to enter a password.
- Once logged in, click the button titled MY FORUMS in the left navigation bar
- Select the SLA list you want to read. That’s it!
How to amend your personal settings
(e.g., if you want to receive a digest of messages once per day)
- Go to http://sla.lyris.net/read/login
- Enter the e-mail address you use for your list(s) and click OK. If you are a list administrator, you will be prompted to enter a password.
- Once logged in, click the button titled MY ACCOUNTin the left navigation bar.
- Under MEMBERSHIP TYPE in the drop-down menu, select ‘DIGEST: ONE DAILY EMAIL WITH ALL THE MESSAGES FOR THAT DAY.
- Select the SAVE CHANGES button. You’re finished!
How to set up a password
(recommended for list security)
- Go to http://sla.lyris.net/read/login
- Enter the e-mail address you use for your list(s), click OK. If you are a list administrator, you will be prompted to enter a password.
- Once logged in, click the MY ACCOUNT button in the left navigation bar.
- You should see your e-mail address. Click the ADVANCED tab above your e-mail address.
- Choose a new password (enter twice).
- If you are a member of multiple lists and would like to use the same password for each list, select CHANGE OTHER FORUMS THAT HAVE THIS E-MAIL ADDRESS AND USE THE SAME PASSWORD.Look under the drop-down menu titled APPLY CHANGES.
- Select the SAVE CHANGES button. You’re finished!
