Industry Partner Council
The Industry Partner Council (IPC) is designed for companies who work collaboratively with SLA both strategically and financially.
The Council will advise the SLA Board of Directors on issues of importance and develop programs and services that increase the value of industry partner and information professional participation with SLA.
The IPC is designed for companies who work collaboratively with SLA both strategically and financially. Involvement with the IPC will be renewed on an annual basis through a financial contribution to SLA.
The IPC will meet quarterly through a virtual call with the SLA Board President and Executive Director; attend a portion of SLA Board of Directors Retreat in June; and meet in-person at the Annual Conference. The goals of the IPC include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide guidance and recommendations on how SLA can better utilize the content and resources produced by the industry partner community for its members.
- Assist in developing programs and services that increases the value of SLA’s Industry Partner community.
- Guide SLA on the marketing and communications targeted to industry partners.
- Lead the development of an inclusive forum for all SLA supporters.
Involvement with the IPC will be renewed on an annual basis through a financial contribution to SLA.
