Do you know a colleague or peer who has gone above and beyond the call of duty? An SLA member who should be honored for his or her dedication, leadership, mentoring, and innovative approach to work? A librarian or information professional who has made an impact on your career or the careers of others, or has furthered the interests and sustainability of SLA or the information profession?
The SLA Awards and Honors Committee is seeking nominations of extraordinary individuals who have made a significant impact on, or notable strides in, the information profession and SLA. Selected nominees will be honored for their achievements at the SLA 2016 Annual Conference in Philadelphia on June 12.
Nominations are due Friday, December 11. If you know someone who would be a deserving recipient of one of the following awards and honors, nominate him or her today! Members can self-nominate for any of the awards.
