Join the Competencies Conversation in Boston at SLA 2015

The Competencies Task Force is holding a session at SLA 2015 in Boston on Monday, June 15, at 4:00 p.m. in room 153C in the convention center. Please join task force members to discuss competency requirements for information professionals and to provide your input.

No advance preparation is required to participate! However, if you want to do some optional homework, please read the prior Competencies documents:  the 2014 Board document and the 2003 document.

Not attending the conference this year, or have a schedule conflict? We’ll be posting a survey later this summer to give you a chance to respond … OR send  your comments and questions to Task Force Chair Dave Shumaker.

Thanks, and we’ll see you there!
