How can I apply issue analysis to help my organization understand and keep ahead of emerging and evolving issues?

Issue analysis is a powerful tool that can help us identify emerging issues; track, observe, and understand evolving issues; and avoid surprises. Used by policy analysts, interest groups, and commercial enterprises, it’s situation awareness also prepare us for timely decisions, planning, and actions. In this online course, we look at 1) the applications for issue analysis 2) how we can apply it to support awareness and foresight 3) how to conduct issue analysis and 4) apply it to a variety of situations, from Early Warning to strategy development to customer engagement and social media activities.

Prerequisite: Participants enrolled for the “Core” and Dual Competitive Intelligence Certificates are recommended (but not required) to have prior experience in business and industry analysis or complete online course, Competitive Intelligence Analysis: Fundamental Frameworks (INTEL-08).
