Paper Titles Portend a ‘Revolutionary’ SLA 2015

Encouraged to address topics that reflect the “Be Revolutionary” theme of the SLA 2015 Annual Conference, the information professionals who submitted proposals for contributed papers did not disappoint.

From “Turning the Library Inside Out” to “Taking Impact Metrics to the Next Level” to “Getting the Most Out of Your Library’s Data,” the working titles of the 12 proposals (out of 32) accepted for presentation at SLA 2015 leave little doubt that the authors intend to create a stir in Boston. That’s welcome news for conference attendees seeking new ideas, fresh insights, and tested strategies to take back to their organizations.

The papers will be presented in sets of four, with one set scheduled for each day of the conference. Each paper presentation will last approximately 15 minutes; after each presentation, five minutes will be allowed for questions from the audience.

The contributed paper presentations will be listed in the online conference planner. Registration for the conference will reopen in early February.
